WP-Matomo Integration (WP-Piwik)
This plugin uses the Matomo API to show your Matomo statistics in your WordPress dashboard. It’s also able to add the Matomo tracking code to your blog and to do some modifications to the tracking code.
To use this plugin the Matomo web analytics application is required. If you do not already have a Matomo setup check our options here.

Simple Matomo Tracking Code
This is a unofficial, basic WordPress plugin for the Matomo web analytics software platform.
It adds the Matomo javascript code into every page of your website, so you don’t have to code PHP to add it to your templates.
It is based quite heavily on the (no more supported) Piwik Analytics WordPress plugin which itself is based on the (no more available) Google Analytics wordpress plugin by Joost de Valk.
The following options are supported:
- matomo hostname
- matomo path
- site ID
- option to control download tracking
- option to exclude the admin user (probably you)

MediaElement Google Analytics & Piwik Event Tracking
This plugins fires Google Analytics & Piwik events for the native WordPress MediaElement video and audio player.
Works for playlists, too! Adds the following events in Google Analytics & Piwik:
- play
- ended
An event look like this: wp-video, play,[filename]
- category: wp-video
- action: play
- label: filename of the corresponding media file
